Job Description

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Pune / Bangalore / Mumbai (Hybrid)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Must Haves:

  • 6+ years of experience preferred for Senior Business Analyst roles.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and comprehension skills.

Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering

  • Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Strong analytical skills to convert business goals into actionable features and product requirements.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Product Ownership & Backlog Management

  • Experience working as a Product Owner or closely supporting Product Owners in Agile environments.

  • Ability to define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value.

  • Experience in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.

  • Participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.

Process Modeling & Documentation

  • Proficiency in creating process flows, workflows, and low-fidelity wireframes.

  • Experience using diagramming tools such as Draw.io, Lucidchart, or equivalent.

  • Ability to create feature-level mind maps and functional documentation.

Project Methodologies

  • Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Experience managing requirements across iterative development cycles.

  • Good understanding of technology platforms and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and review sessions.

  • Experience working with global clients and cross-regional teams and flexibility to collaborate across time zones.

Tools & Platforms

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.

Good to Have:

Domain Knowledge

  • Experience in Retail & Commerce domain.

Change Management

  • Experience supporting organizational change initiatives and digital transformation projects.

  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive adoption of new systems or processes.

Documentation & Training

  • Experience conducting training sessions, product walkthroughs, or preparing feature documentation.

Pre-Sales Exposure

  • Experience supporting pre-sales activities, requirement estimations, or creating Statements of Work (SOW).

Certifications

  • CBAP – Certified Business Analysis Professional

  • CCBA – Certification of Capability in Business Analysis

  • PMI-PBA – Professional in Business Analysis
