Job Description
The Project Safety Manager is responsible for monitoring and managing safety status across all disciplines and at the complete vehicle level, ensuring that safety objectives are achieved throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain the Project Safety Plan.
- Identify the scope of safety activities based on project impact analysis.
- Ensure the consistency and completeness of safety analyses across the defined scope and all layers of the engineering structure.
- Guarantee compliance with safety activity planning and deliverables, including confirmation measures, while coordinating the activities of all concerned stakeholders.
- Ensure safety standards are properly considered in project decisions.
- Track and monitor safety activities throughout the project/program lifecycle, and prepare and present Safety Assessments to the Safety Expert Network at key project milestones.
- Ensure safety release approval for each project phase.
- Oversee the development and optimization of the Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy.
- Supervise the development of the safety case, considering the respective scopes of the different engineering disciplines.
- Organize and lead non-functional safety activities related to the project scope and specificities, including Stress & Threats analysis, Severe Thermal Events management, and other safety-related topics.
Qualifications
- Bac + 5 en école d’ingénierie.
- 1 à 3 ans d'expérience.
