Join ALTEN, a global engineering consultancy partnering with leading names in the automotive industry. You’ll play a key role in shaping the interior and exterior trims of a brand-new, high-performance luxury vehicle — a model that has yet to be revealed to the market. This is a chance to take concept designs from vision to reality, working closely with styling, manufacturing, and supplier teams to deliver components that define both performance and elegance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create detailed CAD models and drawings for interior and exterior trim components using Siemens NX.
- Control and maintain design data within Teamcenter, ensuring all documentation and attributes comply with programme standards.
- Convert styling concepts and surfaces into fully engineered, production-ready designs.
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to deliver solutions that meet feasibility, quality, and cost objectives.
- Produce technical drawings, test plans, and release documentation in line with internal processes.
- Support the sourcing process by preparing RFQs/RFIs, carrying out technical assessments, and providing feedback to the engineering and purchasing teams.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Proficient in NX (3D CAD modelling and surfacing).
- Strong understanding of automotive design processes and product lifecycle.
- Experience in low-volume, high-quality production environments.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
Desirable Skills:
