As an ALTEN consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of the following activities:

  • Define industrial requirements of a product during specification and design phases, including: 
    • Monitoring of co-engineering projects 
    • Preparation and integration of new technologies and processes, with a detailed validation plan 
    • Set-up of industrialization and human capacity planning (including P-FMEA and FAR/FAI requirements) 
  • Guide detail design and pre-series phases (NPL, NPI), including: 
    • Manage industrialisation processes, ensuring quality, time and cost requirements 
    • Perform detailed line balancing for a successful completion of tasks sequencing 
    • Lead validation of implemented product and processes  
  • Ensure propel roll-out of serial production 
    • Manage industrialization retrofit of updated engineering inputs 
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of the serial production plan, ensuring quality, time and cost requirements 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering, specialized in industrial, manufacturing, production, electronics or electromechanics 
  • 1+ years’ experience in an industrial environment (railway, automotive, aeronautics or defence) 
  • Proven experience in process engineering, work instructions, line balancing and Lean manufacturing 
  • Working knowledge of EHS, quality, manufacturing Routings, Bill of Materials 
  • Experience with an ERP and PLM tools 
  • Good communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch 
  • Good leadership, Team Player, problem solver, logical and organized
