Job Description

As a CAE Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, optimizing, and refining processes to ensure precise and efficient simulations, with a focus on crash testing and occupant safety.
  • Performing detailed engineering simulations, including crashworthiness, impact analysis, and safety system performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations align with crash test protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing training and mentorship to team members on tools and best practices, specifically related to crash analysis and occupant protection.
  • Managing CAE projects from start to finish, coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and reporting results to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improving the accuracy and efficiency of simulation processes, ensuring robust and reliable outcomes for crash testing scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with CAE software, including Hypermesh, ANSA, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, and other tools used in crash testing and occupant safety simulations.
  • Proven experience (minium of 3 years) in the automotive industry, particularly in crash testing, impact analysis, and occupant safety simulations, including seatbelt, airbag, and structural integrity assessments.
  • Strong skills in automating updates, conducting simulations, and analyzing results for crashworthiness and vehicle safety.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and effectively communicate progress across teams.
