ALFA Tech Consulting is seeking applicants for a position to work as a Forensic Technician within component divisions of a federal government office. The position is located in Washington, DC.

•  High School Diploma, preferred currently enrolled in Digital Forensic Science, Computer Science / Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, or a related field and one or more years experience in computer hardware, network administration, or cyber-crime investigations.
• Must be able to attain at least one of the following certifications: EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner Certification (CCME).
• Experience with forensic data collection and processing of Windows-based desktop and laptop computer systems.
• Must be able to use forensic tools such as EnCase Forensic, Forensic Toolkit, Cellebrite UFED, ect. ect. under supervision.
• Must have experienc in dead box data acquisition methodologies.
•  The ability to perform entry-level data collection and processiong under direct supervision
• Knowledge of the Federal Rules of Evidence (FRE) as they apply to electronic evidence
• Ability to prepare affidavits and declarations under direct supervision
•  Can manage 1 collectkion or processing project at a time
• Has a resume which reflects the above
