Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Analyst – Commercial Finance & Projects to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position.

You will be part of a high performing team providing meaningful insights and tools to enhance business performance.

What does the role look like?

  • Partner with stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy, including tool development
  • Deliver on process improvements, data and technology driven solutions
  • Conduct adhoc analysis on business performance, business cases and/ or projects
  • Prepare and review presentations for our Executive leadership team with actionable insights, risks and opportunities identification and recommendations
  • Perform competitor analysis, including preparation of presentations
  • Participate and at times lead projects both locally and internationally.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience within a similar role of finance planning and analysis within a commercial environment
  • CA/CPA qualification or equivalent from other countries, preferred
  • Proven organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure (independently without supervision and in a team environment)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate across various levels of the business
  • Superior proficiency in utilising various reporting tools to analyse data- such as Excel, Power BI or Tableau. Python & SQL experience highly desirable
  • Project management qualifications and/or Anaplan experience highly regarded. SAP S4 Hana experience desirable

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $159, 800 - $191, 500 including superannuation
