Overview of role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Executive Manager within our National Data and Analytics (NDA) department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
This role encompasses legacy support, future-state projects and the optimisation of domestic transport and warehouse networks (inbound and outbound). This is an exciting opportunity for a leader to influence supply chain strategies, optimise end-to-end operations, and deliver impactful outcomes during key seasonal and operational cycles.
What does the role look like?
- Create predictive models and conduct comprehensive data analysis to uncover patterns and trends using statistical techniques to inform strategic decision-making within domestic transport and warehouse networks
- Lead a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to translate use case requirements into technical specifications and data models
- Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse layout, capacity utilisation, and operational efficiency
- Support the enhancements to configuration of warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation technologies to enhance operational visibility and control. Support and deliver analytics for legacy systems and future-state supply chain initiatives.

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain, transport or warehouse analytics with demonstrated expertise in network design and optimisation
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python, Gurobi or similar) and exposure to warehouse management systems.
- Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach to solving complex supply chain challenges.
- A proactive seeker of feedback who fosters personal and team growth through reflection and continuous improvement.
- A clear, impactful communicator who informs, inspires, motivates and influences others to drive team success.

Remuneration
- Transparent tiered salary range of $152, 400 - $202, 000 including Superannuation.
