Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as a Senior Analyst within our Financial Planning and Analysis team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Conduct period-end activities, including quarterly business reviews
  • Prepare financial forecasting, including the provision of insights, trends and key drivers to enhance business performance. This includes long range planning, monthly/ quarterly forecasting, and annual planning
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide financial support on business strategy and annual budgets for the business
  • Report and analyse actuals against budgets and forecasts, providing in-depth commercial insights into performance
  • Prepare and review presentations for our Executive leadership team with actionable insights, risks and opportunities identification and recommendations
  • Participate and at times lead projects both locally and internationally. Be the subject matter expertise in area that fall within the scope of FP&A

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience within a commercial finance environment
  • Proven demonstrated experience of financial planning and analysis within professional setting
  • CA/CPA qualification or equivalent from other countries
  • Strong reporting and analytical capabilities
  • Proven organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure (independently without supervision and in a team environment)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate across various levels of the business
  • Superior proficiency in utilising various reporting tools to analyse data- such as Excel, Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience in SAP S/4 Hana is highly desirable
  • Project management experience and/or Anaplan experience highly regarded

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $154,440 - $185,120 (including super)
