Job Description

The ALARIS Group, Inc has an opening for a Full-Time Medical Administrative Assistant (Case Management Extender) to work in our Sioux Falls, SD location.  Hours for the position are 10 am - 7 pm and every 3rd weekend (8 am - 4:30 pm).The Case Management Extender provides office support to our Field Nurse Case Managers who work throughout the country. As a Case Management Extender, you may; provide transcription services, verify appointments, open, scan, and distribute company mail, process and distribute reports, complete demographics information on regulatory forms, request medical records, fax materials, update information in various software systems, and perform a variety of other administrative tasks at the request of individual case managers.

  • Post-Secondary education
  • Experience in a clinical setting and/or familiarity with medical terminology
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to enter data for extended periods of time
  • Experience with office machinery including but not limited to: computers, faxes, printers, phones
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High sense of urgency and good prioritization skills
  • Clear, concise and professional verbal and written communication
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
