Job Description
We are now looking for an Identity and Access Management Lead to support the Chief Information Security Office. The IAM function collaborates with the business and the broader information security team to ensure that appropriate IAM controls, policies, and procedures are in place, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement and monitor strategic, comprehensive enterprise IAM frameworks, guidelines and best practices with focus on ensuring that the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information is managed and controlled.
- Lead the IAM projects and design activities to respond to complex requirements focused on cybersecurity including delivering user access recertification campaigns.
- Develop a reporting mechanism based on metrics to monitor progress, to measure efficiency and effectiveness of systems/framework, and to facilitate resource allocation.
- Perform access controls such as user access reviews, supporting provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts, and managing role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Provide operational leadership and serves as a key liaison between the IAM team and AJ Bell’s senior executive leadership, including providing KPI and KRIs reports to various governance forums.
- Keep up to date with security issues and best practices related to risk management. Monitor emerging threats, trends, and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.
- Work closely with IT infrastructure, application development, and security teams to ensure integrated IAM solutions.
- Provide supervision on new application’s onboarding as per the AJ Bell’s IAM framework and processes.
- Support CISO in developing a IAM technology strategy aligned to the broader IT strategy and roadmap.
- Perform other related duties and fulfil responsibilities as required.
What you'll have:
- Experience in Privileged Access Management and Identity Governance and Access Management
- Technical security knowledge with exposure to relevant technical architecture, environments, platforms, and software industry procedures
- Understand a variety of IAM-related product suites and tools in order to make critical operational and strategic decisions. Example products include Active Directory, SailPoint, ADFS, Azure AD, CyberArk, PowerShell Scripts
- In depth knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and discretionary access control (DAC).
- Familiarity with information security principles, tools, processes, procedures, and frameworks such as NIST and CIS
- Ability to coach others to improve security knowledge and skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a very dynamic and high speed and complex business environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, written, and oral communication skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to plan, take ownership, organise, and follow through on assigned tasks and complete with little or no prompting from management.
- Ability to challenge approach, strategy, and implementation to ensure Information Security is consistently considered and improved.
