Job Description
AIR Communities is hiring a Resident Relations Specialist to join our team at Highlands at Grand Terrace in Grand Terrace, CA.
In this role, you'll be an important part of the resident experience, building relationships, solving problems, supporting lease renewals, and helping residents feel at home throughout their time in the community. You'll serve as a trusted resource for residents while helping drive resident satisfaction, retention, and renewals.

What You Will Do
- Build strong resident relationships and provide responsive, solutions-focused customer service throughout the resident experience.
- Manage the lease renewal process, including communicating with residents, supporting renewal decisions, and finalizing renewal leases by phone and online.
- Support resident retention by proactively addressing questions, concerns, service needs, and opportunities to improve the resident experience.
- Respond to resident concerns and service issues, partnering with appropriate team members to help drive timely and effective resolutions.
- Support residents throughout move-ins, transfers, and move-outs, including notices to vacate and move-in/move-out inspections.
- Assist residents with everyday community needs, including online rent payments, parking registration, pet registration, packages, service requests, and community policies.
- Coordinate resident communications and help plan resident events and activities that strengthen community engagement.
- Provide leasing support across the AIR portfolio as needed and contribute to community marketing efforts.
- Maintain accurate resident information and ensure interactions and processes are handled professionally and in accordance with Fair Housing laws, regulations, and company policies.

What You Have
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment such as property management, hospitality, retail, restaurant, or a similar industry.
- A strong background in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurant, or sales, with the ability to work toward and achieve performance goals.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and address customer or resident needs in a friendly, professional, and solutions-focused manner.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and following through on commitments.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
