What You Will Do

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents while maintaining a safe, professional work environment.
  • Complete apartment turns to AIR quality standards and prepares homes for new resident move-ins.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace plumbing components, basic electrical systems, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other building systems.
  • Respond to resident service requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with move-in and move-out inspections when needed.
  • Support vendor coordination and quality control efforts.
  • Share knowledge, provide technical guidance, and help develop less experienced maintenance team members when applicable.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties based on community needs, seasonality, and individual skill level.

Qualifications

What You Have

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, ideally in some form of facilities, building, or related maintenance environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least two skilled trades, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, or related maintenance disciplines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, rotating on-call coverage, and other schedules required to support community operations.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to respond to emergency service requests while participating in after-hours on-call rotations.
  • Ability and willingness to perform the physical demands of the role, including moving equipment, lifting materials, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
