Job Description

AIR is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead large-scale, complex marketing operations across multiple teams, markets, and product areas. This leadership role is responsible for driving measurable business results through integrated marketing strategies, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Marketing Manager provides senior-level oversight of people, budgets, and resources while ensuring alignment between marketing execution and organizational priorities.

Partnering closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders, this individual will optimize marketing performance, identify opportunities for scalable growth, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and oversee multiple marketing teams, initiatives, or market segments, ensuring alignment, operational efficiency, and excellence in execution.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support organizational goals and drive business growth.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and staffing plans to maximize performance and return on investment.
  • Partner with senior leadership on organizational design, talent planning, and strategic resource deployment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, and other business partners to achieve shared strategic objectives.
  • Establish and communicate clear priorities, goals, and performance expectations across teams and functions.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop marketing managers and senior individual contributors, building leadership capability and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive strong communication, collaboration, and alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of complex, multi-channel marketing programs spanning digital, field, partner, and traditional marketing channels.
  • Monitor campaign and program performance, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize strategy, improve effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
  • Identify operational, organizational, and strategic challenges and lead the development and implementation of scalable solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement by evaluating processes, systems, workflows, and team structures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with Directors and executive leaders to support strategic planning, annual business objectives, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and accountability measures to ensure consistent execution across teams and markets.
  • Represent the marketing function in senior leadership discussions and contribute to broader organizational planning and decision-making.
  • Lead multiple teams and/or functional areas while fostering collaboration and shared accountability.
  • Own and drive medium- and long-term planning, including quarterly and annual marketing strategies, resource planning, and business objectives.
  • Maintain accountability for key marketing and business outcomes, including growth, performance, operational effectiveness, and customer impact.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibility for large-scale programs, campaigns, or functional areas.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams, including people management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional initiatives, budgets, and strategic marketing programs that drive business outcomes.
  • Experience leveraging marketing analytics, performance metrics, and customer insights to inform decision-making and optimize results.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.
