Job Description
The Specialist is a detail-oriented and analytical professional who supports day-to-day operations and project execution across a large, multi-family portfolio. This role focuses on executing tasks, solving problems, and performing analysis to support team functions.
Working under the guidance of Leads and Managers, the Specialist contributes to operational efficiency by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of work. This role is ideal for someone who is developing their analytical and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to cross-functional operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Execution & Task Management
- Execute assigned tasks and workflows to support operational processes and team priorities
- Support day-to-day team needs under the direction of Leads and Managers
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of work across systems, trackers, and deliverables
- Manage individual workload to meet deadlines and quality expectations
Problem Solving & Analysis
- Perform basic analysis to support team functions and decision-making
- Identify issues within assigned tasks and workflows and propose actionable solutions
- Troubleshoot routine challenges and escalate more complex issues as needed
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate findings, updates, and issues clearly to team members
- Collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners to support task execution
- Follow established processes while providing feedback on potential improvements
Operational Support
- Assist with processes related to acquisitions, property transitions, and dispositions
- Support data entry, validation, and maintenance across business systems
- Maintain trackers, templates, and documentation to ensure information is current
- Help manage shared team inboxes and coordination workflows
Project Support
- Support program rollouts and initiatives through tracking and coordination
- Assist with reporting and updates in partnership with analytics or leadership
- Contribute to team projects and ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in operations, real estate, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant internship/work experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and willingness to learn new systems
Additional Information
AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance at the individual, team and company levels. We start with a competitive base salary and add bonus opportunities and benefit choices topped off with:
- Expected base salary of $75,000- $80,000. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
