The Senior Data Scientist must have advanced, deep and wide knowledge of data science / analytics – statistics, machine learning, predictive modelling, heuristic methods, data mining, etc. with experience across many applications like editorial, social, commercial, tech and marketing.

As a Senior Data Scientist you must have knowledge of statistics, machine learning and using statistical languages for analyzing large datasets (Python)

You need to be a Data hacking expert who is not just experienced in but really understands the art and science of data exploration, analysis, cleansing, integration and processing of multiple data streams and scope appropriately pragmatic solutions to complex, unclear problems, with a focus on actionable results. It is a must that you are able to communicate complex ideas in a clear, precise, yet accessible way, making sure insights are easy to understand for the less data-minded

Responsibilities:

  • Developing algorithms and real-time data processing systems to identify user behaviour across editorial, social, commercial, tech and marketing.
  • You will need to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to informed, independent conclusions based on the findings.
  • Assess data creatively and identify important trends and insights amongst the numbers
  • Designing and implement innovative algorithmic solutions to tackle real world media problems
  • You will be able to assess data creatively and identify important trends and insights amongst the numbers
  • Performing behavioural analysis in order to drive commercial decisions and improve operational strategies;
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting tools (QlikView, Tableau, Google Analytics etc.), databases (Neo4j, Redshift, SQL), programming (advantage).
