AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT for Full -Time and Per-Diem Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their STATEN ISLAND Group home residences.

DATE & TIME: THURSDAY JANUARY 15TH from 10AM-1PM

LOCATION: Recruiter will provide specific address to qualified candidates.

PAY RATE: $20-$20.36 per hour based on driving status .  

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:

Full-Time 40hr Evening Shifts: 3pm -11pm or 2pm-10pm...Drivers License Required. Position comes with a generous Benefit package which includes Free Medical Insurance for you and Family members. See additional Benefit information below.

Per-Diem: Benefits are not included

Responsibilities:

• The oversight of all safety and health considerations

• Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
• Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
• Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
• Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
• Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• High school education/GED, highly preferred.
