Job Description
AHRCNYC’s Day Programs are seeking Part-time passionate and creative Music Specialist in All Five Boroughs to provide engaging musical experiences for neuro-diverse adults. This role involves discovering and nurturing individual talents, facilitating music appreciation, leading singing and instrumental sessions, and exploring performance opportunities.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 10am-2pm
Hourly Rate: $25...no benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate interactive music sessions, including singing, instrument playing, and music appreciation.
Discover and support individuals' musical talents and interests.
Create inclusive music experiences by connecting with local music communities.
Organize and support potential performance opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience in music education, performance, and playing a musical instrument.
Ability to work with neuro-diverse adults in an inclusive setting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for fostering creativity and self-expression through music.
