Job Description

AFRY Management Consulting provides leading consulting and advisory services covering the whole value chain in energy. Our vision is to be the most recommended advisor for the energy transition. The secret to our success is our people.

Do you want to think beyond the ordinary and help our clients to make an impact? Are you challenging others and making bold decisions, always taking a stand for what you believe in?

Take your career to the next level with AFRY’s industry-leading global transaction services team.

The opportunity

We are looking for great people to join our team of energy consultants.

We are currently recruiting for our Madrid team, but we have regular opportunities in our other offices Bogota, Bangkok, Beijing, Berlin, Dubai, Dusseldorf, Helsinki, London, Oxford, Milan, New York, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, Vienna, and Zurich.

The challenges of decarbonisation, decentralisation and digitalisation require us to continually challenge our existing ideas to remain at the forefront of thinking on the future of the energy industry. Our vision is to be the most recommended advisor for the energy transition. If you are as interested as we are in this dynamic industry, we would love to hear from you.

You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience to become an industry specialist within a stimulating and supportive environment. While our projects span multiple geographies, your primary focus will be developing deep expertise in the Portuguese power market. Our team specialises in all aspects of energy transition: we offer strategic and commercial advice, conduct regulatory and policy analysis, model energy systems and markets, and support transactions. We pride ourselves on our in‑depth analysis and strong client relationships.

Often the work is office based but there are many opportunities to travel for shorter trips for client meetings or for entire projects where work is on the client site. With more than 800 consultants across over 20 offices on 5 continents, and supported by 19,000 experts at AFRY in design, engineering and digitalisation, we are driven by the idea of helping our clients find solutions to business-critical questions. For individuals looking for international experience we can also offer secondments to other offices.

As a primary responsibility, you will support AFRY consulting activities for a wide range of clients – including major financial investors, the largest Iberian and international utilities, government, and regulatory bodies – through projects carried out mainly in Spain, Portugal and Latin America

If you are as interested as we are in this dynamic industry, we would love to hear from you.
