Job Description

About the Role: In this role, you will collaborate closely with both software and hardware teams to define precise system requirements and specifications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

You will lead the development of cutting-edge system architecture and comprehensive design documentation for advanced embedded automotive systems. Conducting thorough system integration and validation testing will be essential to guarantee compliance with industry standards and exceed customer expectations. Identifying potential risks early in the development lifecycle and implementing effective mitigation strategies will ensure project success.

You will provide expert support in troubleshooting and debugging embedded systems in both lab and field environments, ensuring reliable and robust performance. Maintaining meticulous documentation of system design, testing, and validation processes will ensure transparency and traceability.

Additionally, you will actively participate in design reviews, offering valuable feedback to enhance system performance and reliability. This role will be located in Södertälje

Qualifications

Who You Are:

Experience: You bring proven experience in system engineering for embedded systems within the automotive industry. Your familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet ensures seamless integration and communication within vehicle systems. Additionally, your strong knowledge of embedded software development using languages like C/C++ and Python, coupled with hardware design expertise, positions you as a key contributor to innovative automotive solutions. Experience with system modeling tools like MATLAB/Simulink further enhances your ability to design and simulate complex systems. Your solid understanding of automotive safety standards, particularly ISO 26262, and functional safety principles underscores your commitment to developing safe and reliable automotive systems.

Education: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, providing you with a strong foundation in the principles and practices essential to system engineering and embedded systems development.
