Job Description
Responsibilities
• Monitors compliance with design, engineering, process regulations/procedures, occupational health and safety rules, workplace sanitation and fire safety rules & requirements of environmental.
• Ensures timely development & support of designers to generate technical documentation (drawings, bills of materials, specifications, 3D models)
• Participates in the development of design tasks, Preparing Piping Standards & other deliverables as per project requirements.
• Should be conversant in using AutoCAD/ AutoCAD Plant 3D / S3D / E3D /CAESAR II software packages. Basic knowledge of Piping Software to support Junior Engineer & designers.
• Should be able to develop Equipment Layout /piping GADs/isometrics.
• Working Experience Piping Material selection, Data sheet & MR preparation, prepare Piping Material specification, Data Sheets & MTO generation.
• Working Experience in Piping layout & conceptual planning in respective LNG projects.
• Experience in inter-discipline coordination to collect information for piping design & other related deliverables.
• Ability to check documents prepared from team members & optimize manhour planning for any assigned project.
• Strong understanding of piping design principles industry standards & codes (e.g., ASME, API)
• Working closely with other disciplines, such as Civil, Process, Marine & Mechanical engineers.
• Working experience on critical LNG Cryogenic piping design, routing, Stress Analysis & supporting .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
• Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Master’s degree in respective field is an added advantage.
• Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates.
• Working experience in the respective position no less than 6 to 10 years
• Experience in developing design documentation in accordance with Project & code requirement.
• Experience on projects within FEED/ EPC contractors. Working Experience in LNG projects (Onshore/offshore) are added advantage.
Additional Information
We appreciate if you have
- Experience of working with LNG projects.
- SEA project experience and knowledge of LNG design standards is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS and similar GIS software.
- Experience of Autodesk Navisworks.
- Bentley ProjectWise.
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
- Careful and responsible. Understand the concept of working in a team.
