In the Process Industries Sweden business area, we have all the disciplines and technical expertise required to run EPCM projects in the process industry. This gives us a broad competence to use towards our customers and opportunities to take on larger internal projects.

Project Management Office (PMO) is today a team of 35 wonderful colleagues based all over the country. We run and support our organization with project management, planning, document control, financial follow-up, purchasing, engineering management and construction management in projects.

To implement our strategy for the future, we now want to develop our PMO further by recruiting a Senior Construction Manager. You will be the responsible manager that sets the targets and structure for the construction management department. You also drive the work in implementing work processes and growing the department with new colleagues and contribute to the business area's overall strategy and goals.

In the role as Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the new department Construction management, participate in project sales, build up quality management systems, provide support to colleagues in organization and also be able to take assignments in the EPCM project that is carried out in our business.

We believe that you who are applying have a background in the process industry and many years of experience in Construction Management in large projects.

Merit:

  • Strong safety focus and act as ambassador to implement a safety culture at the construction site
  • Proven working experience in construction management for Process Industries
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Expert knowledge of building, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards within the process industries
  • Understanding of all aspects of the construction process within engineering, procurement, material logistics, prefabrication, transports, site mobilization, construction, mechanical completion and commissioning.
  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture” to develop look ahead plans.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Problem solving skills in cooperation with the design engineering team
  • Leadership and human resources management skills, be a team player
  • Excellent planning and cost forecast skills
  • Proven knowledge of most common standard construction contracts such as AB04 and ABT06
  • Good administrative and contract negotiations skills
  • Experience of estimation in construction work

It is important that you are interested in building contacts both internally and externally and that you are responsive and communicative in order to be able to maintain those contacts in the best way. Sharing your knowledge with customers and colleagues is a matter of course. With us, you will be involved in a varied work with close customer contacts. We assume that you have a driving license B as travel in periods can be a natural part of your role and that you master both Swedish and English well in both speech and writing.
