Job Description
On behalf of our customer in Trollhättan and their quality engineering team we are looking for an organized supplier quality engineer. You will be part of a 12 people strong team covering more than 100 suppliers, experiencing new challenges every day!
As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you will be responsible for setting quality requirements on purchase orders ad follow up with suppliers that all requirements are understood. Establishing robust manufacturing processes at supplier facilities is also an important part of the job, using AS standards (similar to PPAP).
As a SQE you will review and approve the First Article Inspection report when new parts have been produced by the suppliers. As such, you will be quality responsible for "your suppliers".
The main responsibilities as a SQE can be summarized as:
- Perform risk analysis and work with P-FMEA review control plans, problem solving (8D) AS13000
- Report nonconformance including follow-up of root cause, corrective and preventive measures
- Qualify produced articles by e.g. FAI
- Contribute in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities at new suppliers
- Qualification and approval of method material e.g. weld wire
- Suggest areas of improvement to develop the quality assurance dept. even further
Qualifications
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering and preferably have educational and work-related experience from manufacturing engineering and production.
You are driven and goal oriented. Since you will work in an international environment your communication skills are excellent, especially in English but preferably in Swedish as well.
Being organized and structured comes to you naturally and you can work both independently as well as in a team.
You are skilled in IT tools such as SAP R3, Excel and Teams.
To be suitable for the position we believe that you also have knowledge and an interest in aerospace products, processes, and technologies.
