Job Description
Are you driven by combining creativity, statistics and how to use digital platforms to achieve results? Are you a sharp storyteller who makes complex messages easy to understand? As a Communication & Content Specialist you will be part of the Communications Team at the Industrial & Digital Solutions Division at AFRY, build an internal network of communicators, experts and other stakeholders.
We are looking for a Communication & Content Specialist with project manager skills who will set the strategy for the content work and execute on it, as well as carrying out communication tasks, acquisition and change communication.
As content specialist we expect you to be creative, structured and used to set goals and create results. You are responsible for creating, coordinating and publishing content as well as tracking performance in social media and running the division’s external stories on an ongoing basis. You are the go-to-person in the division who ensures that new updates and information are communicated on all relevant platforms.
As communication specialist we expect you to have experience of working with corporate communication. You will be involved in both internal and external communication, as well as acquisition and change communication.
You will also be part of AFRY’s Global Social Media Team as well as Team Sweden.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Have overall responsibility for content development in the division (coordination, production, planning, gatekeeper), set a strategy for content, make a plan and then execute
- Have an understanding of how social media channels and platforms work, set up targets/KPIs, follow up
- Be involved in the division’s internal and external communication (positioning stakeholders, acquisition and change communication), provide best practice and share knowledge
- Be the primary contact person for issues concerning content creation and social media for the division
- Participate in the overall communication activities
- You have excellent writing skills in both Swedish and English

Your profile
- A handful of years of working experience in a similar role
- We are an engineering and design company, so preferably you are interested in technology and digitalisation, its development and the impact it has on society
- Relevant higher education within communication, marketing, media or similar
- Previous experience of working with corporate, internal and external communication, and content creation
- Understanding social media and how to optimise content
- Take your content ideas through execution to follow-up
- In-depth knowledge of Office
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Indesign, or similar software
- Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro or After Effects, or similar software
- Speak and write both Swedish and English fluently
