  • Support the delivery of AFCA’s consumer engagement strategy, including administrative support for key internal stakeholder networks
  • Represent AFCA at conferences, outreach activities and events, including preparing event briefs, presentations and collateral (events may occur on weekends or public holidays)
  • Ensure all engagement and communications materials align with AFCA’s brand and style guidelines
  • Participate in internal working groups, as directed
  • Source and manage quotes from external suppliers, ensuring value for money and high-quality outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong, cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including consumer groups
  • Contribute positively to team culture and broader organisational objectives
  • Undertake other reasonable duties aligned with the role

This is initially a 6-month contract role.

Qualifications

To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • A degree qualification in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement principles and best practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence representing AFCA at external events
  • Proven ability to write, edit and produce high-quality, professional communications
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
