Job Description

As a Mid-Level Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Salesforce solutions for a federal customer. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices
  • Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of developed solutions
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices and recommend new capabilities that align with business goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, design, and development best practices
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration methods
  • Experience with Agile and Copado for SF DevSecOps
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs is a huge plus
  • Experience with Salesforce development withing the federal government is a plus
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain and government security clearance
