Job Description

Aetos has an immediate opening for a SharePoint Online (SPO) /Power Platform Developer to provide O365 SharePoint Online development to our government client. This position is 100% remote.

As a SharePoint Online (SPO) /Power Platform Developer, you will provide SharePoint and MS Power Platform subject matter expertise to perform high level analysis, design, development, integration, and implementation support to meet customer deliverables/needs. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the required applications to resolve problems and discover areas of improvements related to the technical subject matter. We are seeking a talented, results oriented candidate with a continuous learning mindset, ability to keep up with the latest development trends, tools, and best practices.

Duties:

· Functions as a technical expert across multiple project teams and across functional units (where appropriate) to develop and implement technical solutions that leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.).

· Act as a key coordinator between multiple customers and multiple project teams to document and implement new initiatives.

· Work collaboratively with the SPO Developers and the customers to support requirements gathering, analyze data, design prototypes, and document SharePoint solutions to meet customer needs and expectations.

· Work with project teams and customers to plan, document, and/or assist with migrations of customer data into SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.

· Create and/or manage Communications or Teams sites.

· Create and/or manage M365 security groups.

· Create and/or manage Site Pages, lists, libraries in modern and classic sites.

· Manage the deployment of new and existing solutions after testing and approvals.

· Assist with assessments, documentation, and presentation of results to customers in preparation for migrations of their current SharePoint/SharePoint Online environments.  

· Assist with site architecture and implementation of new solutions approved for integration into the O365 environment as pertains to SharePoint Online and Teams.

· Troubleshooting technical issues with automation tools and other custom solutions.

· Participate in team and customer interactions suited to specific business process improvement needs.

· Provide end-user demonstrations and virtual training session (in Teams) for any team developed SharePoint or MS Power Platform solutions.

· Review and provide input on project related briefs, training guides, and best practice documentation as needed.

· Work collectively with the functional development team to address customer requests.

· Provide project status updates and reports.

Qualifications

Qualifications:    

· CLEARANCE: Active Secret

· CERTIFICATION: Current 8570 Level II (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent)

· EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any relevant field from an accredited institution.

· YEAR'S EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer-facing role to gather technical requirements, develop, and implement custom solutions.

Technical Skills Required:

· Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform tools to build custom solutions (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.)

· Expertise with Architecture of Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 On-Prem Farms, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams  

· Proven experience in designing and developing user interfaces for software applications or websites.

· Prior experience or knowledge of working with Microsoft SharePoint Designer, infopath, Nintex, or similar tools.

· Familiar with front-end development languages (e.g., JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML).

· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to address code-related issues.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills Desired:

· Experience working with migration tools to include: Metalogix, ShareGate, and/or a similar tool.

· Prior knowledge as a Site Collection Administrator (SCA).

· Experience with PowerShell scripting to assist in SharePoint migrations.

· Experience in developing user interfaces using programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, SPFX, JSON, jQuery, etc.).

· Experience with Microsoft Products: Visio, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

· Knowledge of other tools: OneDrive for Business, AvePoint, Exchange, O365, Data Migrations.

· SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to perform work responsibilities remotely.
