Director of HUD Services



AEI Consultants is currently seeking a Director of HUD Services to join our expanding Building Sciences and Engineering division to provide leadership, at an expert level, for HUD PCNA services. We are seeking professional, dedicated, enthusiastic individual with the following experience, skills and attributes:



  • Professional RA or PE license with 20 or more
    years of engineering or architectural experience

  • 10 or more years of due-diligence Property
    Condition Assessment experience

  • 5 or more years of experience performing field
    work and writing HUD PNA reports

  • 3 or more years of experience reviewing or
    training others in the preparation and delivery of HUD PNA reports

  • Experience leading and managing a team

  • Technical writing, client management, and
    financial leadership skills

Qualifications

The Director of HUD Services will be an integral member of
our Building Sciences and Engineering Department and will report directly to the
VP of AEI Building Sciences Department. In addition to providing leadership for HUD
PCNA services, the Director of HUD Services will have the following
responsibilities:



  • Fostering growth on a national level, taking
    advantage of AEI’s in-house and associate consultant resources.

  • Building the template infrastructure necessary
    to deliver industry leading and client sensitive HUD services.

  • MThe roles and
    responsibilities of the HUD Director will incanaging and training
    staff;

  • Assisting the sales team with marketing;

  • Providing guidance to the environmental services
    at AEI for HUD related work.











Other responsibilities will include providing senior review
and training other senior reviewers to manage the report set-up and delivery
process:



  • Sales
    Advisor
    – Provide advice to sales team assignments with technical scope and
    pricing assistance

  • Staffing
    Coordination
    – Identify and assign in-house staff or outside
    consultant (AC) to the project

  • Field Coordination
    - Provide oversight to the site inspection coordination by assisting field
    staff or consultants in coordinating the set-up and execution of HUD
    assessments.

  • Report
    Coordination
    - Provide oversight to the template and appropriate language development
    for this service line.

  • Project
    coordination
    - Assis– Provide
    assistance tot
    the sales team in identifying qualified associate-consultants,
    setting pricing, as well as setting scope of work

  • Technical
    writing review
    - Provide technical writing review of reports before
    delivery to client

  • Mentoring
    -– Assist
    in mentoringProvide mentoring for field staff and associate
    consultants

  • Client
    management
    - Provide technical and management consulting to clients,
    including overseeing client satisfaction and report changes to ensure a client
    focused company perspective.

















The Director of HUD Services will work in collaboration with
VP of Building Sciences and Engineering and EVP of Due Diligence in the
improvement and development of AEI’s services and delivery of HUD services.
