Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Advisor - Safety, Health & Environment to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will champion a culture of safety excellence and environmental stewardship across our organization. As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on occupational health and safety matters, ensuring all operations align with UAE regulations and international best practices while driving continuous improvement and fostering a proactive risk-aware mindset throughout the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce SHE requirements across roads and infrastructure construction activities.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Aldar OSHMS, UAE regulations, and project-specific HSE requirements.
  • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Review contractor safety performance and ensure adherence to approved method statements and risk assessments.
  • Prepare SHE reports, maintain compliance documentation, and support continuous safety improvement initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of SHE/OSH experience on major roads and infrastructure projects, including utilities, drainage, sewerage, and potable water networks.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, OSHAD-SF, and Aldar OSH competency requirements.
  • Proven experience in safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience implementing and monitoring SHE Management Systems and contractor compliance.
