- Identify emerging project opportunities, develop capture strategies, and position AECOM for future work through client engagement, industry involvement, and market intelligence.
- Lead or support major proposals, statements of qualifications, interviews, presentations, and other pursuit activities, coordinating technical teams and developing compelling approaches to client needs.
- Serve as a senior client contact and trusted advisor, understanding client priorities and connecting them with AECOM’s multidisciplinary technical capabilities.
- Provide project and program management leadership, including scope development, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, quality management, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate with technical discipline leads to develop integrated transportation solutions and ensure consistency across roadway, traffic, transit, structures, planning, and other project elements.
- Provide strategic direction to project teams and serve as a senior resource for resolving complex technical, operational, and project delivery challenges.
- Oversee the performance of project managers and technical teams, helping establish priorities, manage resources, and maintain accountability for successful delivery.
- Collaborate with AECOM leadership across Colorado and the broader West Region to identify workshare opportunities and develop strategies for expanding transportation services.
- Represent AECOM at industry conferences, professional organizations, client meetings, and other events to strengthen the company’s presence and relationships in the Colorado transportation market.
- Support development of new and existing transportation markets by monitoring industry trends, infrastructure investment, agency priorities, and emerging client needs.
- Mentor and develop project managers, engineers, and other transportation professionals, creating opportunities for increased technical, project management, and leadership responsibilities.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, safety, quality, and accountability across transportation teams.
- Ensure project and program delivery follows AECOM standards, contractual requirements, applicable regulations, and client expectations.
- Work with regional and national AECOM leadership to leverage technical expertise, resources, and best practices to pursue and deliver complex transportation programs.
