Job Description
AECOM is seeking a BIM Coordinator - Data Centers based in Enterprise Capabilities office in Bucharest.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- BIM Implementation Execution – execute the BIM Implementation strategy on complex international projects.
- CDE Admin – provide CDE administration to project teams, manage permissions, complete model-setup in ACC.
- Multi-Discipline Coordination – lead and execute project coordination workflows, create federated model, condition model data as necessary, lead and execute clash detection on models, lead BIM coordination meetings and support project teams with project issue’s management using either ACC, Navisworks or Revizto.
- BIM Execution – create & maintain the project’s industry framework docs: BEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices etc.
- Information Management – coordinate smart object metadata and classification codes with asset information databases
- Technical Support – provide advanced guidance on 3D modelling and data management and oversee project teams using Revit and/or Civil 3D.
- Content Creation – support the production and creation of smart object content libraries & templates (parametric Revit families, Revit templates etc,.) and support the maintenance of AECOM’s content management repositories (Content Catalog).
- Quality – support & administer the digital quality assurance control procedures. Support BEP (BIM Execution Plan) compliance through systematic model checks, monitor model performance against defined KPIs, and produce regular reports on compliance status and performance metrics to support project quality and efficiency.
- Collaboration – be an ambassador for a global group working with AECOM region project teams, Enterprise Capabilities office disciplines & other Enterprise Capabilities Digital departments.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrate a portfolio of Data Center projects working as BIM Coordinator / modeller / documenter.
- Experience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management and an advanced user of any of the following: Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, and/or ACC Model Coordination.
- Experience with AIT and/or AVT.
- Experience working with the ISO19650 framework and implementing required documentation in a project environment.
- Advanced knowledge and experience resolving model issues and conflicts in Revit or Civil 3D.
- Experience optimising workflows with Dynamo will be considered favourable.
- Technical design and construction delivery knowledge for Building disciplines.
- Experience working with Common Data Environments ACC.
- International experience working with global project teams.
- Communication - Fluent in English (oral and written), a team player and mentor, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Professional Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or a related discipline project execution or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
- 8+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field. Must have previous formal multidiscipline BIM Manager/Coordinator role experience.
