Job Description

Position Overview

The Jr. Billing cum Costing Engineer – Aviation shall report to the Sr. Billing cum Costing Manager and support billing, quantity verification, cost monitoring, and commercial documentation for assigned airport development projects within their respective discipline (Civil, Electrical, MEP, or Airport Systems). The role involves verification of contractor bills, quantity measurements, cost tracking, commercial records management, and coordination with project teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify contractor bills, quantities, measurements, and payment certificates.
  • Review bills against BOQs, drawings, specifications, measurements, and contract provisions.
  • Maintain billing records, quantity statements, payment registers, and cost trackers.
  • Monitor project expenditure, commitments, variations, and payment status.
  • Support verification of change orders, variations, and additional cost claims.
  • Assist in rate analysis, quantity reconciliation, cost estimation, and budget monitoring.
  • Prepare periodic billing, quantity, and cost control reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams for measurement and billing activities.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and commercial reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate billing, costing, and commercial documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline), Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
  • Overall 5-10 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, cost control, project costing, or commercial management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation projects is essential.
  • Experience in contractor billing, quantity verification, budget monitoring, variation management, and contract administration.
  • Experience relevant to the assigned discipline (Civil, Electrical, MEP, or Airport Systems).
