Job Description

AECOM Hunt is hiring an Assistant Construction Project Manager in the Cleveland, OH area. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Under moderate supervision assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks. Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. Employee handles some unusual situations independently.  
  • May interface with design team. • May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
  • May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues. •Assists with and monitors change orders
  • May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting • Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
  • Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
  • Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed
  • May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.

 

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    •  BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education or AA/AS (US) + 4 YORE or HS/GED + 6 YORE    

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous internship experience in construction management
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
