Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Inspector - Architectural Building Construction to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of architectural building construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes, architectural specifications, and quality standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining project integrity and safeguarding construction quality throughout all phases of development.

  • Conduct thorough on-site inspections of building construction projects at various stages, documenting findings and observations with precision
  • Verify compliance with approved architectural drawings, building codes, and UAE construction regulations
  • Analyze construction materials, methods, and workmanship to ensure they meet established quality standards
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain organized records of all inspections, violations, and corrective actions
  • Identify deficiencies, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues and communicate findings to project managers and contractors
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve construction-related issues efficiently
  • Photograph and document construction progress and any areas of concern for project records
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout inspection activities
  • Recommend corrective measures and verify implementation of required corrections
  • Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders regarding inspection outcomes and project status

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in the buildings project
  • Diploma or degree in Architecture
  • Proven experience as a Building Inspector, Construction Inspector, or similar inspection role
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical plans
  • Proficiency in quality assurance and compliance verification procedures
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules efficiently
  • Preferred: Background in construction project management or site supervision
