Position Overview:

The Senior BIM Manager / Digital Delivery Manager shall report to the Sr. Design cum Project Co-ordinator and serve as the PMC lead for BIM implementation, digital engineering, information management and technology-enabled project delivery across the airport development programme.

The role shall be responsible for establishing and implementing BIM execution strategies, digital delivery standards, Common Data Environment (CDE), model coordination processes, digital project controls integration and asset information management systems. The position shall ensure effective digital integration between design consultants, contractors, project controls teams and stakeholders to support design coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, progress monitoring and data-driven project delivery.

The Senior BIM Manager shall lead the digital transformation of project delivery and act as the custodian of BIM governance, digital workflows and information management systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

BIM & Digital Delivery Management

• Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Information Management Strategy and Digital Delivery Framework.
• Establish BIM governance, modelling standards, workflows and data management protocols.
• Monitor compliance with BIM requirements, modelling standards and information exchange procedures.
• Manage implementation of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and digital collaboration tools.

Design Coordination & Model Integration

• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination across terminal, airside, landside, utilities and airport support facility packages.
• Facilitate model federation, clash detection, constructability reviews and interface coordination.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors and project teams to resolve model conflicts and design issues.
• Support value engineering, design optimization and digital review processes.

BIM-Enabled Project Delivery

• Integrate BIM with project controls, scheduling, cost management and construction monitoring systems.
• Support 4D scheduling, 5D cost management and digital construction planning initiatives.
• Monitor model progress and digital deliverables against project schedules and milestones.
• Support progress visualization, digital reporting and project performance tracking.

Information & Asset Management

• Establish and maintain project information management systems and asset data requirements.
• Ensure accurate capture, validation and transfer of project information and asset records.
• Support development of digital handover requirements, asset information models and operational readiness documentation.
• Coordinate preparation of as-built BIM models and digital asset registers.

Governance, Reporting & Innovation

• Develop BIM dashboards, digital performance reports and executive management updates.
• Monitor BIM maturity, model quality and digital compliance across the project.
• Promote innovation, automation, digital engineering and data-driven decision-making.
• Support project leadership in leveraging technology to improve efficiency, collaboration and project outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering/Construction Management/BIM Technology or related discipline.
• Master's Degree in BIM/Digital Engineering/Construction Technology or related field preferred.
• Overall 15-20 years of professional experience in design, engineering, BIM management or digital project delivery.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation projects involving airport terminal buildings, airside works, landside infrastructure, utilities and airport support facilities.
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary BIM environments involving architecture, structure, MEP, utilities, airside and landside infrastructure.
• Experience in PMC, EPC, Design Management Consultant or Client-side project management environments.
• Extensive experience in BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 frameworks, Common Data Environments and digital delivery platforms.
• Experience in large airport developments and multidisciplinary programme environments shall be preferred.
• Experience in at least one Greenfield or Brownfield airport project of minimum 10 MPPA capacity involving terminal, airside or major airport infrastructure works preferred.

Key Competencies:

• Proven leadership in BIM management and digital delivery of large and complex airport or infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in BIM implementation, digital engineering, model coordination and information management.
• Comprehensive understanding of airport design, construction, operational interfaces and asset management requirements.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, Civil 3D, Synchro and other industry-standard BIM platforms.
• Expertise in ISO 19650, Common Data Environments, BIM governance and digital delivery frameworks.
• Strong understanding of 4D scheduling, 5D cost management and BIM-enabled project controls.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination across terminal, airside, landside, utilities and airport systems.
• Strong analytical, technical problem-solving and innovation capabilities.
• Experience in digital transformation, automation and data-driven project delivery.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Strong governance, information management and digital compliance capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex design and construction coordination issues through technology-enabled solutions while supporting project delivery objectives related to programme, cost, quality, safety and operational readiness.
