Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing quantity surveying activities for building projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation, budget control, and comprehensive project documentation. You will work closely with project teams to deliver precise measurements, cost analyses, and reports that support project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed measurements and quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings for building projects
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
  • Analyze project costs and develop comprehensive cost reports and forecasts
  • Monitor project budgets and identify cost variances, providing recommendations for cost control
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and cost breakdowns
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate project information and timely delivery
  • Review contracts and tender documents to identify cost implications and risks
  • Utilize quantity surveying software and tools to support analysis and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Provide professional advice on cost-related matters to project stakeholders
  • Support the preparation of variation orders and change order documentation

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the buildings sector
  • Strong expertise in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and budget analysis
  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying
