Job Description

Core Engineering Responsibilities:

• Perform specific and limited portions of broader engineering assignments under the direction of experienced engineers

Problem-Solving & Analysis:

• Identify discrepancies in results and document findings

Team Leadership & Mentoring:

• Provide technical guidance and support to entry-level engineers

Project Management:

• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules with moderate supervision

  • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
  • Execute detailed and routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests

     

  • Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered during project execution

     

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 5-7 years of professional mechanical engineering experience
  • Advanced proficiency in performing complex engineering calculations and analysis
  • Extensive experience with engineering testing, data collection, and validation procedures
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills with proven ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to document findings and technical results with clarity and precision
  • Advanced proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and established procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present technical information to diverse audiences
  • Proven experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with defined schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and design optimization
  • Experience with project management software and tools
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or significant progress toward licensure
  • Experience leading or coordinating engineering projects or technical initiatives
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies
