Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Graphic Designer to join our multidisciplinary design team, supporting high-value bids and proposals across regions such as the Middle East and the United States. This is a technical, hands-on role focused on the coordination and execution of bespoke graphic design solutions. The ideal candidate will excel at managing projects, developing branded templates, and collaborating with technical teams across various business lines.

The Principal Graphic Designer will coordinate the development of bespoke graphic design solutions for bids and proposals in the Middle East, US, and other regions. Responsibilities include developing, refining, and maintaining branded templates for each project, ensuring alignment with client and AECOM branding standards The role will closely collaborate with the Graphic Design Team Lead on creative direction, as well as with graphic design and technical teams across regions and business lines to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables. The Principal Graphic Designer will assist with populating templates and proposal documents with content provided by technical teams, focusing on clarity and visual appeal. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks and deadlines to support high-value pursuits is essential. The role also requires contributing creative input and technical expertise to design teams, fostering innovation and best practices, and liaising with proposal managers, writers, and technical leads to ensure seamless integration of graphics and content. Staying current with industry trends, tools, and technologies relevant to graphic design for bids and proposals is expected. 

Qualifications

Candidates must have: 

  • Mandatory Bachelor Degree in graphic design, visual communications, or an equivalent qualification
  • Min 10 years of significant professional experience in a similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) 
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating graphic design teams and projects for bids and proposals 
  • A passion for precision, problem-solving, and creative detail 
  • Excellent attention to detail with a sharp eye for visual design and aesthetics 

Preferred qualifications and skills: 

  • Experience working with international teams and supporting high-value pursuits  

  • Ability to work independently and deliver within established timelines and with high accuracy 

  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is an advantage 

  • A collaborative spirit and strong commitment to teamwork in a dynamic, evolving environment 

  • Experience in developing branded templates and technical document layouts for diverse business lines
