AECOM is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and capital programs. This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior-level professional with strong financial acumen, stakeholder management expertise, and experience operating within complex, regulated environments.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives, compliance requirements, and AECOM’s standards of excellence

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure and capital projects, from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and client billing.
  • Support procurement activities, including preparation and evaluation of tenders and contractor selection.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating across internal teams, contractors, and external partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public- and private-sector stakeholders.
  • Implement project governance processes and ensure compliance with applicable standards, including ISO 9001 and client-specific requirements.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and communicated effectively.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and performance insights for internal leadership and clients.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support project and program decision-making.
  • Contribute to business case development, planning activities, and early-stage project strategy.
  • Support alignment of projects with broader program goals, funding requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field plus six years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated or public-sector environments.
  • Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure programs (transportation, water, data centers, industrial, or federal projects).
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects or portfolios.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with AECOM systems and processes is a plus.
  • Strong financial management and forecasting capabilities.
  • Expertise in project controls, governance, and risk management.
  • Experience with tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI and dashboard development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.
