Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Associate - Wayfinding to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive wayfinding systems that enhance user navigation and experience across our facilities and projects. You will work collaboratively with architects, designers, and project managers to create intuitive signage solutions and spatial navigation strategies that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.

  • Design and develop wayfinding systems, including signage layouts, directional markers, and navigational aids for buildings, campuses, and public spaces
  • Analyze user flow patterns and behavior to identify navigation challenges and recommend effective wayfinding solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, graphic designers, and facilities managers to ensure wayfinding integration into overall project design
  • Create detailed wayfinding plans, specifications, and documentation using CAD and design software
  • Ensure all wayfinding solutions comply with accessibility standards, including ADA requirements and local regulations
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for the production and installation of signage and wayfinding elements
  • Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate existing wayfinding systems and identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintain organized project files, documentation, and wayfinding asset libraries
  • Communicate wayfinding concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and clients through presentations and visual materials
  • Support project management activities including scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance for wayfinding components

Qualifications

  • 8 years of professional experience in wayfinding design, signage design, environmental graphics, or related field
