Job Description
We are currently seeking a Program Integration Manager to join our team in supporting a first-of-a-kind program with AECOM partners advancing the innovative stellarator technology for TVA.
This position will report to the overall Program Manager and will work directly with both the technology partner, end client and the AECOM execution teams. The objective of this role is to provide in-person connection with the technology partner to align and coordinate the multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and dependencies to maintain the focus on delivering the multiple, concurrent projects successfully.
The selected candidate will be an exceptional hands-on professional with proven track record of working on heavy industrial or power generation projects of high strategic value and high level of execution complexity.
Functional responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following tasks:
- Working as owners-adviser in a consulting environment within a collaborative team structure, and experience on large construction projects or programs. Substantial prior work experience in this capacity is preferred
- Working with estimates, constructability and time impact analysis
- Understanding and delivering program vs project objectives, support the project execution teams ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives set by management, include setting up benefits realization and performance metrics to meet the clients’ CAPEX program objectives
- Provide expert guidance during set up and configuration of Project control systems
- Leads data management for monitoring/reporting, support configuration and maintaining various Project Management Information Systems and other control systems
- Experience using one or more PMIS software platforms (ex: InEight, e-Builder, PMWeb, Procore, Kahua, Oracle Unifier)
- Hands-on tracking and maintenance of overall program information and individual project elements, identifies and addresses project interdependencies
- Engages in strategic collaboration with program leads and project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization
- Establishes and maintains constructive relationships with project stakeholders and clients
- Self-Motivated willing to take on issues and solve problems
- Facilitates clear and concise communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing insightful and actionable updates
- Maintains close working relationships with senior leadership to define and refine program-level objectives with precision
- Delivers comprehensive and regular updates to senior leadership on program progress, challenges, and achievements, ensuring full transparency and accountability
- Supports the coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overarching program objectives
- Proven communication skills across multiple platforms - orally, in writing and through data presentation using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Track record of producing accurate and succinct monthly reports and responding to ad hoc client reporting requests
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS in Engineering, Construction, Business or related field + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or related field
- 7+ years of related project management or controls experience in the heavy industrial or power generation projects
- Advanced certification – Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP)
- Experience delivering/working on projects of at least 500 Million CAPEX
- Experience in Nuclear power projects
- Experience in risk management, contracting and procurement
