Job Duties:

  • Lead site operations: plan, sequence, and supervise self-perform and subcontractor work to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
  • Manage schedule: develop and maintain 3–6 week lookaheads, coordinate long-lead items, and remove roadblocks to maintain critical path.
  • Coordinate trades: run daily coordination meetings; ensure field installation aligns with design, shop drawings, and BIM/coordination models.
  • Ensure quality: implement ITPs, first-work inspections, mockups, and hold points; document and close punch lists promptly.
  • Oversee logistics: manage site access, laydown, hoisting, crane operations, deliveries, waste/recycling, traffic control, and public interface.
  • Control field changes: identify constructability issues early, propose solutions, and support RFI, ASI, and field change documentation.
  • Interface with stakeholders: collaborate with the project manager, design teams, commissioning agents, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), venue operators, and client representatives.
  • MEP oversight: coordinate heavy MEP trades, equipment setting, start-up, TAB, life-safety systems, and readiness for commissioning.
  • Documentation: maintain daily reports, safety logs, inspection records, delivery tickets, as-builts, redlines, and photographic documentation.
  • Compliance: uphold building codes, life safety, accessibility, fire protection, acoustics, and crowd-management requirements for assembly occupancies.
  • Closeout: drive phased TCO/CO inspections, system demonstrations, O&M turnover, training, and final punch completion.
