Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Team Leader / Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and supervision of water supply and sanitation infrastructure projects across five cities in Himachal Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and proven experience managing large-scale projects in similar sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all phases of project design and supervision, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and implement detailed work plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for the project.
- Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations under FIDIC red and yellow book conditions.
- Manage relationships and communication with International Financing Institutions (IFIs), ensuring adherence to their standards and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, designs, and documentation.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Mentor and supervise project teams, providing technical guidance and leadership.
- Facilitate workshops, training, and stakeholder consultations to enhance project delivery and capacity building.
- Promote sustainable engineering practices, integrating environmental and social safeguards into project execution.
Qualifications
- At least a University Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A Master’s degree will be an advantage
Additional Information
- The role requires frequent travel to project sites in Himachal Pradesh and periodic visits to client and stakeholder offices.
- Ability to work in field conditions, including remote and rural locations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to health protocols.
