Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support the commercial and contract management functions on major rail and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective contract administration, contractual compliance, and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

This position requires strong knowledge of contract management principles, including experience administering contracts under FIDIC forms of contract, within large-scale design and construction environments.

Key Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ experience in contract administration within major rail and/or infrastructure projects
  • Experience working on rail, metro, transportation, or other large-scale infrastructure developments is preferred
  • Strong understanding of contract administration principles, commercial processes, and document control procedures
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with FIDIC contracts  
  • Experience supporting the management of variations, claims, contractual notices, and change control processes
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Experience on complex, high-value infrastructure projects is highly desirable
  • Middle East experience, particularly within the UAE, will be considered an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and management of project contracts in accordance with contractual requirements and internal governance procedures
  • Assist in the interpretation and application of FIDIC contract provisions and contractual obligations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, correspondence, registers, and documentation
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and processing of variations, claims, extension of time submissions, and contractual notices
  • Monitor contractual deliverables, obligations, and key milestones to ensure compliance by all parties
  • Coordinate with commercial, legal, engineering, and project delivery teams on contract-related matters
  • Support the preparation of commercial reports, risk assessments, and contract status updates for management review
  • Identify potential contractual risks and support mitigation strategies
  • Ensure adherence to project procedures, contractual processes, and corporate governance requirements
  • Support audits and ensure proper filing and traceability of contractual documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying
