Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Project Information Specialist for immediate employment at our New York office. The Project Information Specialist will report to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting and providing the documentation as below:
 

  • Monitor Construction Management data files to ensure data entry is current and accurate (Issues Files, Disputed Work, Claims, RFIs, RFCs, Payment Tracking, and correspondence in PMIS e-Builder).
  • Log contractor certifications for materials, designs, and tests in PMIS e-Builder to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Maintain PMIS e-Builder documentation for contract closeout, including controlled inspections, occupancy/use prior to completion, substantial completion, time extensions, final reporting, and equipment tracking logs.
  • Maintain PMIS e-Builder files for all correspondence and submittals.
  • Maintain CM logs, daily sign-in sheets, and visitor logs; order and manage office supplies.
  • Receive visitors and maintain visitor log.
  • Scan and organize all documents.
  • Perform duties of e-Builder Project Administrator.
  • Oversee and maintain project record logs (Submittals, Payments, RFIs, Change Orders, WSTs, Subcontractor tracking, NCRs, CPM submissions, SARs)
  • Assist Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer with processing and reviewing contractor progress payments.
  • Assist with ODC requests and expenditures for CM trailer complex upkeep (internet/phone, janitorial services, office supplies, building maintenance).
  • Assist Construction Manager and Resident Engineers in drafting letters and responding to DEP requests for information.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly I&T presentations; attend meetings, record minutes, track action items, and file reports in e-Builder.
  • Maintain records for inspector test reports; follow up with inspectors and staff on critical issues and task completion.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction or comparable degree plus 4+ years of experience in engineering or the field of construction management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NYCDEP 4-hr Scaffolding Training.
  • NYSDEC 4-hr Erosion and Sediment Control Training.
  • Must have PMIS e-builder experience.
  • NYCDEP BEDC EHS Standards Training (4 Hour).
  • Osha 10.
