Job Description
To manage, control, and maintain all project documentation in compliance with AECOM standards and RTA requirements, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely distribution of documents across stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the Document Management System (DMS) (e.g., Aconex, EDMS).
- Register, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents (drawings, reports, RFIs, submittals).
- Ensure proper document numbering, revision control, and version tracking.
- Archive project documents in line with company and client standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and RTA representatives.
- Ensure timely submission of documents to the client and follow up on approvals.
- Manage transmittals and document workflows between all project parties.
- Ensure all documentation complies with RTA standards and project requirements.
- Perform quality checks on documents before submission.
- Maintain audit-ready document records.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–12 years of experience in document control (preferably infrastructure projects).
- Experience working on RTA or similar government authority projects is a strong advantage.
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Aconex / EDMS / SharePoint
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawings (preferred but not mandatory)
Additional Information
- Generate weekly/monthly reports (document status, approvals, delays).
- Track pending documents, overdue submissions, and approvals.
- Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, drawings, and correspondence
- Support implementation of document control procedures.
- Train project staff on document control systems if required.
- Ensure proper access control and security of documents.
- Minimum 3 years of work expereince in UAE is Mandatory
