Job Description

  • Familiarize yourself with the project's contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, health and safety measures, and any associated updates or revisions.
  • Undertake site supervision and conduct audit inspections to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, resources, materials testing, workmanship, and inspection activities for project closeout and handover.
  • Liaise daily with the contractor and coordinate with the Client's Project Manager to ensure proper management of site resources, progress of works, and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Prepare daily inspection and progress reports for submission to the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE), including details of work orders, materials deliveries, and inspection programs.
  • Implement site instructions issued by the RE or ARE and identify and report site issues promptly to coordinate corrective actions.
  • Assist in site measurements, survey checks for utilities, alignments, levels, and other infrastructure components as directed by the RE or ARE.
  • Monitor and verify start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover activities, ensuring all records and documentation are properly maintained.
  • Ensure all works comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, DEWA, and other local authority standards and regulations.
  • Promote and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience within similar projects, with minimum 3 years in UAE.
  • Relevant experience in comparable structural & roads projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • RTA Approval is preferred

Additional Information

  • Mandatory work experience in UAE for 3-4 years minimum
