Are you ready to shape the future of the water industry? Our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water team is seeking an agile, client-centric, diligent and enterprising professional with water industry experience to take on the role of Deputy Client Account Manager for one of AECOM’s key strategic clients – Uisce Éireann.
About the Role
As Deputy Client Account Manager, you will support the Uisce Éireann Account Manager in managing one of AECOM’s most important client relationships. Acting as a key interface between Uisce Éireann and AECOM’s end markets and senior leadership, you will help guide our positioning, engagement and long-term partnership with the client.
Your role will involve supporting strategic engagement, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring AECOM continues to deliver value as a trusted partner.
Uisce Éireann is a strategic account for AECOM, with a significant cross-sector and interdisciplinary programme of opportunities and a strong future pipeline. This role will play an important part in delivering the objectives of our Water business while supporting continued growth in both the account and client relationship.
About Client Account Management at AECOM

This role will be based in our brand-new Dublin City Centre office, with the flexibility to take advantage of our hybrid working model.
Here’s what you’ll do:
The role will involve supporting the Client Account Manager in:
Strategic Growth & Client Strategy
- Driving strategic growth and building on recent successes to position AECOM for upcoming opportunities during RC4 and beyond.
- Supporting the development and execution of client strategies that drive growth and long-term value.
Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Driving the client relationship with genuine passion and interest.
- Working closely with clients and external stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities and deliver complex solutions.
- Effectively communicating with clients and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Value Proposition & Opportunity Development
- Continual development of AECOM’s value proposition aligned with Uisce Éireann’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Translating client needs into supporting disciplines and end markets to create targeted strategies and proposals based on lessons learned and best practice.
Bid & Opportunity Management
- Collating, managing, and optimising bid collateral to ensure a consistent approach to clients in bidding.
- Engaging in governance decisions relating to selection processes, potential partners, and Go/No-Go decisions.
Governance & Risk Management
- Managing conflicts of interest across AECOM’s contracts and opportunities.
Data, Knowledge & Market Intelligence
- Ensuring the account is data-driven by maximising Salesforce and other digital tools for intelligence, communication, and client interactions.
- Implementing the knowledge management strategy to access tacit knowledge across delivery teams and business lines.
- Acting as a knowledge champion by acquiring, sharing, and applying knowledge through collaborative approaches.
- Developing and optimising knowledge platforms and facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Enhancing understanding of Uisce Éireann, the market, and the industry environment.

We are looking for a candidate who is naturally inquisitive, a diverse and creative thinker with a demonstrable working knowledge of Uisce Éireann Core Values, Structure and Strategic Goals & Objectives, with knowledge of the regulatory environment in which our clients operate.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and mutual trust with a range of stakeholders within client organisations.
Proven involvement in delivery of water industry projects across one of the following areas – Asset Management, Engineering Design, Environment, Programme/Project Management, Construction Management, Advisory.
You will be able to display the following behaviours:
