Job Description
The Assistant Manager, Total Rewards, Asia supports the Asia Rewards function, particularly for Hong Kong in the implementation and on-going enhancement of the company’s rewards programs. The role ensures that programs are aligned with the business objectives and are competitive within the industry. The position will report to the Head of Total Rewards, Asia.
Position Summary: The Assistant Manager, Total Rewards, Asia is responsible for supporting the country HR on the development, integration, implementation, and in partnership, communication of Asia reward programs for approximately 5000 employees in Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development, alignment and administration of base pay strategies, policies and programs including market pricing, salary surveys, salary structure and analytics
- Conduct research, identify benchmark resources, analyse data and identify trends and provide recommendations in the region
- Support assigning and reviewing of job level and job profile under AECOM Career Model for new hires or revision for existing employees
- Oversee administration of country benefits programs such as HK group insurances renewal as well as implementation and communication, MPF enrolment, employee well-being activities
- Support the annual salary review for the region, including analysis on spent versus budget on salary increases, incentive awards and equity awards, system testing and all related activities
- Partner with HR to develop best practices and provide appropriate rewards advisory to our stakeholders
- Ensure all rewards programs and practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements, providing recommendation as new regulations are enacted
- Other duties as assigned or required such as Asia-wide initiatives or other global compensation or global benefits initiatives
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in managing compensation and benefits/or total rewards programs
- Track record in implementing and administering base pay and variable pay and benefits programs in a large and complex organization
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting or related discipline
- Formal training in Total Rewards is a plus
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge (Formulas such as IF, Vlookup, Pivotal table) of MS Excel is essential
- Experience in using HRIS/Compensation software/AI
Other Skills/Attributes
- Excellent analytical skills to analyse and present complex data in a way appropriate to the diverse audiences; with ability to provide recommendations that are in line with business needs
- Strong stakeholders’ management skills and confidence to provide advisory to internal customers as well as work closely with external vendors. Willing to take initiative to build strong relationship with stakeholders. Must be comfortable to deal with stakeholders at all levels including senior leaders
- Ability to deal with issues in a fast-paced but ambiguous working environment, retaining a positive and goal-oriented attitude
- Strong project management skill is a must
- Ability to work independently with good problem-solving skill
- Ability to provide guidance to junior team members
