Job Description
For our major construction project at the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam we are currently looking for a Document Controller to ensure document management consistency across all projects, maintaining control and traceability of the documentation.
In the role of Document Controller, you will be part of AECOM’s PMC (Project Management Consultant) team based on the Project site office of approx. 12 people as well as the client team of approx. 20 people involved in:
· Pro-active coordination of RFIs (Request for Information) / Submittals of the Contractors:
· Distribute the RFIs/Queries to the correct Disciplines
· Coordinate the responses from the Design Team
· Report on status of submittals and workflows
· Send the response to Contractor/ Client in due course
· Keeping track of workflows, coordinating with team members and Lead Verifiers
· Proactive and team player, raising risk/issues on time
· Full coordination of the Project Library and the Project Document Management System
· Assist with tasks related to Project Controls such as programme, quality systems, onboarding, logistics and broader project admin.
· Answering questions/queries from the team, in charge of document libraries
· Liaising with Document Controllers from the Client and Contractor to facilitate collaboration
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
· Leading example in compliance and ethics
· Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
· Ability to handle multiple projects
· Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-Contractors team
Requirements
· Experience with MS Office and/or using Document Management Systems
· Document Control Certification is an advantage
· Specific training courses related to Document Management and Quality is an advantage
· Fluent in English - Fluent in Dutch is a plus
· Basic understanding of Construction Works
· Basic understanding of Design and our disciplines (knowing what needs to go to who)
